Holiday Inn Laramie by IHG

This is not a place you would go out of your way to find or stay at, as it’s an out-of-the-way kind of town. We were traveling back home from Reno, NV to Colorado and decided to stay here last night due to a bad snowstorm. First of all, the front desk employee, Mary, is an outstanding professional. Our room (107) had heater issues, so my husband went to get her. She immediately came to our room with a “how can I help?” attitude and even brought an extra room key (109) to accommodate our stay. She was very busy with many guests—likely because of the snowstorm and the high number of travelers—but her service was excellent. (5 stars) Both rooms, 107 and 109, were clean and very well organized. Lastly, the breakfast was well worth the money. We paid around $160 for a family of four and two dogs, and the breakfast attendant was also professional, friendly, and respectful. My only suggestion is to please put out a tip jar for the breakfast cook/server. That would be a great gesture for them at the end of a long, hard day. I would stay here again if we drive this way and would strongly recommend this place to others. Because of the location (not very attractive), I would rate this as a 4-star hotel—but the service deserves 6 stars. Great job, everyone!!

We actually messed up or reservation dates and they were able to accommodate our same reservation with minimal increase in price point (originally booked for a Tuesday check in, when I needed a Saturday check in). Friendly and efficient staff and clean rooms.

We had a nice stay here. A potential new employer for me set us to stay here. It was a 13 hour drive from Arizona and we did arrive early. The staff did everything they could do get us in our room asap so we could stretch out and take a quick nap. Everything is clean and staff is very friendly. Close to restaurants and such.

We stayed here on a cross country move for one night. We had 2 toddlers and a couple of animals so we were very happy for such an easy check in. It is in a very nice area of town near plenty of stores and restaurants. It is a very nice hotel. Clean, big and well taken care of. The rooms are a little old in decoration but honestly still very nice, clean and in good condition. They have a Perkins restaurant attached to the hotel which was so incredibly convenient and the servers were great with my children. It was easy to navigate and overall we had a wonderful experience. They also honor the IHG rewards and I got a great pet discount.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for just around a year. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We brought our dogs and they loved being here and saying hi to the front desk. The bar manager was always great and always had great recommendations for local beers. Going to University of Wyoming games is so easy staying here because you can walk right there. Great food within walking distance. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel! Always recommend staying here.

The service here is wonderful. The staff is lovely and kind and willing to help with your needs. I needed an extra shampoo, and the staff got it right away. The front desk was attentive and polite. The bartender, Cheyenne, did a wonderful job and I would definitely go back to have her as my bartender.

2nd time here. Rooms are nice. Pillows need work. Deflate.. had to fold it a time or 2 to get minimum firmness. 7220 Lounge - Cheyenne is fantabulous. Mixology is her forte. Super friendly and helpful.. I hope they are paying her well or she will be snatched up.

Pleasant overall stay here after traveling all day. The female attendant was very friendly and helpful in guiding me through setting up WiFi. Our room was comfortable, and the television was pretty simple to operate. The bathroom offered a shower option only. Fitness center was adequately equipped for a decent workout. The only drawback was that this location offers breakfast through the restaurant Perkins, so it isn’t complimentary.
